James (Jim) Earl Anderson
Jim serves as VP of Business Development for Whisker Labs.
Before that, he served as VP of Global Sales for AEM, Inc. Jim has spent his career at the intersection of private enterprise and environmental policy. He believes that business can be a dynamic force for progress on various environmental issues, including climate change, that are primary determinants of human thriving. With two decades of experience as a go-to-market leader in the environmental tech space and training in business, environmental economics and policy, and wildlife ecology, Jim brings a unique marriage of science, policy, and business experience to his work.
Jim has been enthralled with nature since he first climbed (and fell out of) the sycamore tree at his boyhood home in Madison, WI. Early experiences with Outward Bound, working at the Aldo Leopold Memorial Reserve, and others solidified his fascination and love for the environment. Jim is a backpacker, biker, and beekeeper. He brings this passion and experience to Good Enough for the Climate, in which he explores the surprisingly simple math of the planet and tells the stories of the leaders developing an amazing array of emerging solutions. It delves into the principles of action and innovation to advance human thriving and reshape our relationship with nature.
His most important life’s work is being a father to three amazing young women, who still agree to spend backcountry nights with him in a tent under the stars.
